What good is a boatshop? You can make possible:
- after-school programs
- job-skills training
- on-water activities
Being on the water was kind of "our thing". Ever since I can remember, my dad loved all things water and boating related, and he loved to share that passion with me. I have so many memories of sailing, boating, canoeing, and even iceboating with my dad. I remember working with others as a teenager and using math and physics to restore rowboats on the south side of Milwaukee. I got so much out of those unique experiences...so I want to help others learn from the water too!
My father founded All Hands Boatworks in Milwaukee to empower youth with skills and "tools" they need for academic success, personal responsibility, and job readiness.
